My 89 Corvette is having an electrical problem. I thought I fixed and finally and the gist happened again. Every once in awhile the car would just stole and I wouldn't be able to .To remove the amp, you need to remove all of the 1/4" bolts on the outer edge of the speaker box. Inside the box you will see a metal 4"x4" circuitboard (or a larger one for 84-87 models), this is . Next to the battery ('86 conv) is the jump start junction block. This picture is one of the wires that goes to the block ( I pulled it up for the picture). While cleaning the connections . From the main Bat connector on the alternator I am going to use an 8 gauge wire to a junction box. From the junction box I run a fused link and 10 gauge wire to the starter .
