The repop metal tends to be thinner, which can make it harder to weld. There is trend starting, to produce stuff at the correct gauge, I think AMD is leading the charge on that. . all aftermarket sheet metal is junk, in my opinion. It never fits well and there's always bodywork that's needed. It's rare to get an aftermarket part that's REALLY ready for prime out of the box.

I'm actually thinking of buying a set of fenders from them. Mine are in tough shape. Sheet metal, at least the best-quality sourcing of it, is a very complex matrix. No single factory over in Taiwan makes the "best of everything" by default. can't comment on the amd 1/4's but the full trunk floor and wheelhouses fit like a glove.
