I'm having a similar problem. My biggest issue seems to be the connector however, it has corroded pins. Anyone have any clue what the pinout is for the JBE connectors (lower connector mostly). We tested this a few ways, grounding junction box at X11010 pin 1 and grounding x60005 pin 13. Caused an audible 'click' on the DME relay and showed power across all downstream fuses 37,38,39, etc. Checked terminal . Today on JD Cars we finally resolve the BMW electrical issues by replacing the junction box module (JBE Module). I picked up this module, used, on eBay for just bucks .

I have had a particular problem for quite a while with everything in the instrument cluster flashing on and off, it seems likely to be a very short power interruption which is causing it, and also is temperature related, the hotter in the cab the more frequent the problem.
