Water leaked into the smart junction box 3 months ago and I finally saved up to spend 00+ to buy a new SJB. But all I paid was 6 total and Ford dealership just recoded and installed software that was reset when the SJB(GEM Module) got wet. Pulling one fuse, marked smart junction box feed #6, caused the draw to fall to 1.5 amps. I reinstalled it and the draw stayed at 1.5 amps I switched it with another fuse and the draw stayed at the rest of the day. The SJB malfunctioning is a common problem in the 2005-14 Mustangs due mostly to water intrusion thru the firewall which then pours onto the SJB.
